What Body Shape are YOU?

I asked my facebook followers what they wanted to see on my facebook page? One of the most common replies was to help them figure out what body shape they are. I have just shared a post on how to determine your body shape and decided to upload it here too :-)

Your size plays no part in this exercise. I want you to forget about focusing on what you dislike about your body or what you think are your problem areas. Stand in your underwear in front of a full length mirror with your legs together, your feet flat on the ground and your arms loosely by your sides. Focus on the proportions of your entire body; compare the width of your shoulders to the widest part of your hips and also paying attention to the width of your waist.

If your shoulders and hips are relatively equal in width and your waist is clearly defined with curves in all the right places you are an Hourglass!

If your shoulders and hips are relatively equal in width without a clearly defined waist you are a Straight body shape!

If your shoulders and hips are relatively equal in width and you are carrying excess weight around your tummy with no waist definition you are an Apple!


If your lower half (hips and thighs) are wider than your upper half, you also tend to have small boobs, you are a Pear!
If your upper half (shoulders and/or boobs) are wider than your lower half and you have slender hips and legs you are a Strawberry!
